Saving Grace Pet Adoption Center is part of a national effort during the spring “Empty the Shelters” event.

As shelters throughout the country are facing overcrowding, BISSELL Pet Foundation is sponsoring the event which has reduced adoption fees to $25 through Saturday. This is being hosted in more than 275 shelters in 40 states, including at Saving Grace.

The national campaign began in 2016 as a way to encourage more families to adopt a pet into their home. More than 83,000 pets have found adoptive homes through the reduced fee event.

Saving Grace was part of an Empty the Shelter event in December. That resulted in over 100 animals finding a new home.
