WIND ADVISORY BEGINS LATE SUNDAY

A Wind Advisory is in effect begins at 11:00 p.m. Sunday for central Douglas County and nearby locations.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said southwest winds of fifteen to twenty- five miles per hour with gusts up to forty miles per hour are anticipated. The Advisory also applies to eastern Curry County and Josephine County, including Camas Valley, The Sexton Summit, portions of Interstate Five and parts of Highways 42 and 199.

Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

The Advisory runs through 11:00 a.m. Monday.
