A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged disturbance on Thursday night.
The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said just after 11:50 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the 500 block of Sweetbrier. 39-year old Patrick Poore reportedly walked out of a house with a firearm and was challenged in the driveway. He attempted to flee back into the house but was apprehended without further incident.
The report said the victim was able to produce video of Poore throwing her down, striking her multiple times, and pointing a firearm at both the victim and himself. The victim had a large lump on her forehead and complained of a headache. The incident occurred in the presence of minor children, according to the report.
Poore was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, fourth-degree assault, menacing and for pointing a firearm at another. Bail was set at $68,750.
