The Roseburg City Council faces a busy agenda for its Monday night meeting.
Councilors will have a public hearing regarding a resolution to exempt from competition in the public contracting process, the awarding of a contract for operations of the Navigation Center.
The council will vote on resolutions updating parks rules and regulations, and for approving a property tax exemption for the planned Sunshine Park Apartments, a low-income project on Sunshine Road.
Ordinances will be voted on amending a portion of the City’s zoning map, and amending Roseburg Municipal Code regarding the definitions for inoperable, wrecked, dismantled or abandoned vehicles.
Councilors will consider allowing staff to make a grant application for the Safe Routes to School Program for improvements to Douglas Avenue.
