COVID-19 has claimed 54 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,854, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 433 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 698,982.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in Oregon is 271, which is 1 more than on Wednesday. There are 45 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 10 fewer than on Wednesday.

The new cases include:

*78 in Washington County

*65 in Multnomah County

*37 in Lane County

*32 in Marion County
