A Myrtle Creek man was jailed after a suspicious incident on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 10:30 p.m. officers found the 45-year old on the premises of a closed business in the 300 block of Northeast Stewart Parkway. The man was allegedly holding a small bag of methamphetamine and some of his clothing still had sales tags from a nearby department store.

The report said the man had a keychain to a vehicle from a car lot, but officers did not see that vehicle nearby. The suspect was charged with unlawful possession of meth for a violation amount. He was also held for a parole violation. The man was held without bail.
