COVID-19 has claimed 30 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,244, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 7,928 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the case total to 662,250. This includes data recorded by counties for the 3-day period between Friday and Sunday.

*4,054 cases were reported Friday

*2,047 cases were reported Saturday

*1,828 cases were reported Sunday

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients across Oregon is 1,072, which is 1 fewer than on Sunday. There are 197 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 15 more than on Sunday.

The new cases include:

*1,216 in Multnomah County

*1.088 in Washington County

*776 in Lane County

*774 in Marion County
