All the occupants of a passenger vehicle were transported to Peace Health Cottage Grove Hospital following a wreck on Interstate 5 on Sunday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said at 4:25 p.m. a sedan was northbound near the Drain and Elkton exit, when it stuck a semi-trailer attached to a semi-truck. The truck and trailer were stopped in traffic due to police activity further north on the roadway.

The driver of the sedan had attempted to stop but hit the left rear portion of the trailer. The report does not indicate how many people were in the sedan. The truck driver was not hurt. The sedan was towed from the scene.
