The driver was cited following a highway wreck on Friday.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 10:00 p.m. troopers were dispatched to the single vehicle crash on Highway 42 two miles east of Tenmile. The driver initially said they were having difficulty seeing at night and turned into a ditch.

The pickup damaged the brick wall and wire fence of a homeowner. The driver told the trooper that they had consumed several shots of alcohol after driving into the ditch but had only two beers before crashing. He was cited for careless driving. The pickup was towed from the scene.
