COVID-19 CLAIMS 18 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 6,181, AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 18 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,181, as of Thursday.

The Oregon Health Authority reported 5,417 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the case total to 649,389.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,087, which is 17 fewer than on Wednesday. There are 183 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 10 fewer than on Wednesday.

The new cases include:

*592 in Multnomah County

*586 in Washington County

*546 in Lane County

*325 in Clackamas County
