A freeway wreck caused major damage to a vehicle on Wednesday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said just before 2:45 p.m. a pickup was traveling north near the Tri-City exit. The driver attempted to drive from the fast lane across the slow lane in an effort to take the exit. The pickup couldn’t handle the turn and collided with an impact barrier before hitting a sign. No injuries were reported.

Some state property was also damaged.
