Canby state representative and former House Republican leader Christine Drazan has announced that her campaign has raised more than $1 million in the race for Governor.

While the newest candidate in the race, Drazan is the first Republican to eclipse that threshold.

Drazan said she is grateful to the many Oregonians who have helped her get such a fast start in the race. Drazan formally launched her campaign on January 4th. As of Thursday, her current fundraising total is over $1,033,000, according to her release. It said that she has more than $870,000 in the bank.
