Roseburg Grocery Outlet is getting ready for its upcoming move.

After years on West Harvard Avenue, the store will more to a larger building in the Garden Valley Shopping Center next month. That is the former location of JCPenney’s. Co-owner Steve Burton told News Radio 1240 KQEN their timeline has the existing location closing on February 12th with the new store just north of Garden Valley Boulevard opening on February 17th.

Burton said the sales floor will increase by about 2,800 square feet while the backroom areas will be over 10,000 square feet larger. Burton said their staff team has increased from 28 to 35. He hopes to add 2 to 4 more people as they see which departments grow fastest.

Burton said he is really excited that the move is almost here. He said feedback from the community has been very positive, with customers just as excited.

Updates on the new location will be provided on the store’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/RoseburgGroceryOutlet
