OREGON SURPASSES 6,000 COVID-19 RELATED DEATHS

On Wednesday, Oregon surpassed 6,000 COVID-19 related deaths.

COVID-19 has claimed 54 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 6,048.

The Oregon Health Authority reported 8,207 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 605,363.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,061, which is 4 more than on Tuesday. There are 155 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 more than on Tuesday.

The new cases include:

*931 in Multnomah County

*911 in Washington County

*910 in Marion County

*692 in Lane County
