Roseburg Police cited a man after an alleged hit and run incident on Tuesday.

The RPD report said at 1:30 p.m. witnesses allegedly observed the 73-year old back into another driver’s pickup while it was parked at a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway, Witnesses said the suspect then drove away without attempting to contact the victim.

The man in question was contacted and cited for failure to perform the duties of a driver. Both vehicles were able to be driven.
