Roseburg Police cited a man following an alleged theft incident on Tuesday.

An RPD report said 36-year old Jason Cornutt allegedly stole a bluetooth speaker from a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway on Monday night. He returned Tuesday afternoon at around 12:40 p.m. and reportedly stole a handgun safe. The report said the suspect has already been trespassed for life from the business and admitted to everything when contacted.

The report said the safe was returned but Cornutt had already sold the speaker for $60 in cash. He was cited for first-degree theft, and two counts each of first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree theft. Cornutt was released after being cited.
