COVID-19 has claimed 41 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,994, as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 6,904 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 597,172.
OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 1,057, which is 12 more than on Monday. There are 152 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 fewer than on Monday.
The new cases include:
*841 in Marion County
*750 in Multnomah County
*683 in Clackamas County
*520 in Jackson County
