An Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect until 4:00 a.m. Saturday for Douglas County and much of southern Oregon.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said a period of stagnant air with light winds and poor mixing is expected. That could result in the development and persistence of deteriorating air quality.
State air quality agencies highly recommend that no outdoor burning occur and that residential wood burning devices be limited as much as possible.
