REPRESENTATIVE DRAZEN TO STEP DOWN FROM LEGISLATURE

State Representative Christine Drazen, a Republican from Canby, has announced that she will step down from the Oregon State Legislature on January 31st.

The former House Republican Leader recently announced for run for Governor.

Drazen said, “We are at a crossroads in Oregon. We must decide: more of the same or a new direction. The people who have led a decade of decline cannot be trusted with our future”. Drazen said it has been a “profound honor” to represent her district in Salem and to have led House Republicans on behalf of all Oregonians through difficult circumstances and extraordinary challenges.

Representative Vikki Breese Iverson has replaced Drazen at the House Republican Leader.
