Douglas County Government has announced that most of its offices will be closed on Monday, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Exceptions include:
*The Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum will be open during its normal hours
*All county operated parks, campgrounds, and boat ramps will continue to be open and accessible.
While the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office lobby will be closed, deputies, communications and DCSO staff will continue to provide law enforcement protection. Commissioners, County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer and the Douglas Public Health Network will continue to work on the COVID-19 response, regardless of the holiday.
