Friday’s report on COVID-19 cases in Oregon shows that the state broke the highest daily case total for a 5th report in a row.

COVID-19 has claimed 33 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,761, as of Friday. An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 10,451 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 459,700.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 625, which is 37 more than on Thursday. There are 119 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 9 more than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*2,380 in Multnomah County

*1,891 in Washington County

*1,132 in Clackamas County

*940 in Deschutes County
