Officers from Roseburg Police dealt with a two-vehicle crash at a busy downtown intersection on Wednesday.

An RPD report said just before 2:00 p.m. a sedan was in the left lane of Southeast Washington Street near Southeast Spruce when an SUV driver attempted a left turn from the right lane. The vehicles collided and crashed into a nearby telephone pole.

The driver who caused the accident was cited for making an improper left turn. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
