Roseburg Police cited two men for offensive littering following a large fire on Monday night.

An RPD report said at about 11:15 p.m. an officer observed the blaze coming from a camp in the field west of the 1100 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The report said a 34-year old was building a fire, as the 35-year old slept in a tent. Their camp allegedly had a large amount of old wood, old food and other garbage strewn all over the ground. The fire was put out.

Both were released after their citations were issued.
