Roseburg Police cited a man following an alleged assault incident on Sunday.

An RPD report said at about 12:30 a.m. the suspect entered a business in the 3100 block of Northwest Aviation Drive and asked to use the restroom. When an employee refused, the suspect allegedly punched him in the nose. The employee followed the suspect out of the business where the 33-year old allegedly attempted to attack him again. The victim wrestled the suspect to the ground and held him until an officer arrived. The employee complained of nose pain and concussion symptoms and was evaluated on scene.

The suspect was cited for fourth-degree assault and then was released.
