A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday for much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected. The Advisory area includes central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County. That applies to passes on Interstate 5 north of Grants Pass.

Forecasters said snow will impact elevations down to the valley floor in some locations.
