Some people are still without power following recent winter weather in Douglas County.

As of 4:00 a.m. Wednesday, Pacific Power was reporting that around 180 customers in the southern part of the county were without power, while close to 100 customers west of the Diamond Lake area lacked power as well.

Douglas Electric Cooperative reported the number of members without power had dropped to 180 as of late Tuesday evening.

Staff and contractors for both utilities have been working on the issue since snow and windy conditions hit the region over the weekend.
