Travelers in southwest Oregon should expect snowy roads and winter conditions as winter weather continues to affect the region.
Information from the Oregon Department of Transportation said drivers should plan ahead and expect delays.
Roads in high elevations may be covered with packed snow and ice. OR 62, 138 and 230 are especially treacherous. Travel on these roads or other high cascades areas is not advised. Sno-Parks in the Crater Lake and Diamond Lake areas are still inaccessible.
Chains are still required through high elevation areas. Chain requirements can change throughout the day, depending on conditions. Those chaining up need to do so on road shoulders only.
