COVID-19 CLAIMS 8 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,598, AS OF THURSDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 8 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,598, as of Thursday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,350 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 410,565.

The new cases include:

*345 in Multnomah County

*164 in Washington County

*114 in Clackamas County

*109 in Marion County
