COUNTY’S VACCINE PACE INCREASES DRAMATICALLY

Douglas County’s vaccine pace dramatically increased last week, with 2,727 vaccines given, according to the Douglas Public Health Network.

2,138 of the doses given were booster doses, with 342 new vaccinations.

Current data includes the Federally administered doses given at the Roseburg VA, which are not included in totals from the Oregon Health Authority. On that basis:

*60 percent of those age 18 and older in the county are fully vaccinated, as calculated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

*50.4 percent of the entire population in the county are fully vaccinated, as calculated by the CDC
