COVID-19 CLAIMS 39 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,508, AS OF WEDNESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 39 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,508, as of Wednesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority said that 3 million Oregonians have received at least one dose of the three authorized COVID-19 vaccines, as of Tuesday.

OHA reported 907 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 403,329.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 380, which is 2 fewer than on Tuesday. There are 94 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 3 fewer than on Tuesday.

The new cases include:

*128 in Multnomah County

*90 in Marion County

*87 in Washington County

*68 in Lane County
