A 2-year old child was taken to a Portland hospital after being hit by an SUV on Tuesday night.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 6:00 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 2900 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard following a report of the accident.

The investigation concluded that the juvenile and her mother were hit by the vehicle, as they were crossing the roadway. The child sustained serious injuries. No further information has been released by RPD.
