COVID-19 CLAIMS 39 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 5,420, AS OF MONDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 39 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,420, as of Monday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,387 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 401,564.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 408, which is 2 fewer than on Sunday. There are 106 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 fewer than on Sunday.

The new cases include:

*218 in Multnomah County

*190 in Washington County

*138 in Clackamas County

*101 in Deschutes County
