REVISION FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING

December 13, 2021 9:10 a.m.

There has been a revision regarding Monday night’s Roseburg City Council meeting.

Due to two people withdrawing their applications for an open position on the Planning Commission, the meeting will now begin at 6:00 p.m. as councilors interview the remaining three candidates for the seat being vacated by Stephanie Newman. Councilors will talk with Jim De Lap, Whitney Boss and Jacob Joliff and are expected to select one of them during the regular meeting, which will start at 7:00 p.m.

On the main agenda, staff is recommending that councilors approve a Parking Enforcement Services contract with ACE Parking for a three-year period to begin February 1st of next year. Downtown Roseburg and the Laurelwood neighborhood have been without active parking enforcement since March of 2020.

Councilors are being asked to approve extending the State of Emergency for the city, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, until June 30th, 2022.

Other items are on the agenda as well.

Mayor Larry Rich will issue a proclamation in honor of Gary Wayman, who passed away last Monday.
