OREGON PASSES 400,000 CASES OF COVID-19, AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 25 new lives, raising the state’s death toll to 5,381, with the state passing 400,000 confirmed and suspected cases of COVID-19, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 834 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 400,188.

OHA said the number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 392, which is 12 fewer than on Thursday. There are 96 COVID-19 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 2 more than on Thursday.

The new cases include:

*125 in Multnomah County

*86 in Washington County

*66 in Clackamas County

*63 in Lane County

Locally OHA said there were 40 new cases in Douglas County
