DENSE FOG ADVISORY THROUGH 10:00 A.M. MONDAY

November 22, 2021 8:20 a.m.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Monday morning for much of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Service said visibility of a quarter of a mile or less in dense fog is expected. The Advisory area includes most of Douglas County along with Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County.

Forecasters said there could be hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility. Colder areas will experience dense freezing fog, which could lead to a buildup of ice on roads, sidewalks and other surfaces, especially elevated area like bridges and overpasses. Drivers should use extra caution and leave plenty of room for breaking.
