Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged disturbance on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 p.m. officers responded to the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. After an investigation, officers concluded that 54-year old Shane Brannan injured the hand of, and threatened to kill another person. The suspect had also failed to complete his annual sex offender reporting requirements.

Brannan was charged with 4th-degree felony assault, menacing and for failure to register as a sex offender. Bail was set at $18,750.
