Two people were jailed following an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Tuesday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said a male victim initially reported that a man had sprayed a woman in the face with mace in the 4,000 block of Grange Road in Green at about 10:50 p.m. The report said the woman was extremely uncooperative and refused to stop yelling and screaming. The woman declined medical attention and refused to say what happened.

The man admitted to spraying the woman with mace, but said she had physically attacked him. The parties refused to separate. After refusing to stop screaming and being warned multiple times, she was taken into custody. The report said the woman resisted arrest and attempted to kick a deputy multiple times while he was detaining her. The man reportedly pushed the victim out of a trailer, causing him to scrape his ankle.

Both suspects were taken to jail. The woman was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. She was released from custody on Wednesday. The man was charged with harassment and was held on $6,750 bail.
