Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged assault incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said just after 9:00 p.m. 27-year old Tevin Shaw was contacted after an investigation into assault, menacing and unlawful use of weapon following an incident in the 900 block of West Elaine Avenue.

Charges included assault in the second-degree, menacing and unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $306,250. A second man was contacted at the same time and was found to have warrants out for his arrest. He was cited and released on the scene.
