COVID-19 has claimed 20 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 4,750, as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 1,811 new confirmed and presumptive cases of COVID-19, bringing the state total to 378,174.

OHA said the total number of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 across Oregon is 482, which is 14 fewer than on Thursday. There are 120 patients in intensive care unit beds, which is 6 fewer than on Thursday.

OHA’s most recent update on COVID-19 breakthrough cases, released on Friday, found that 71 percent of the 6,776 reported COVID-19 cases between October 31st and November 6th, occurred in unvaccinated people. There were 1,962 breakthrough cases, accounting for 29 percent of all cases. The average age of breakthrough cases during that period was 45. To date, 4.4 percent of all vaccine breakthrough cases have been hospitalized and 1.1 percent have died. The average age of vaccinated people who died was 80. *274 in Multnomah County

*203 in Clackamas County

*165 in Washington County

*155 in Lane County

Locally OHA said there were 85 new cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County

The new deaths ranged in age from 54 to 94.
