The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man for a trespass incident on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said at 11:30 a.m. 37-year old Raul Rosario allegedly returned to Ray’s Food Place on Carnes Road in Green, after already having been trespassed that morning. A deputy contacted him in the parking lot and the suspect took off running. Rosario reportedly jumped or fell into a nearby creek. The man came out of the creek after about ten minutes and was taken into custody.

Rosario was charged with second-degree trespass, third-degree escape and for a parole violation. He was held without bail.
