Roseburg Police jailed a man after an alleged menacing incident on Saturday night.

An RPD report said at 8:15 p.m. 49-year old Daniel Melwhinney was arrested for allegedly making threats and causing a disturbance with victims in the 500 block of Southeast Lane Street. Melwhinney was charged with two counts of menacing and for harassment. Bail was set at $65,000.
