A power outage impacted much of the Roseburg area Thursday morning.

Pacific Power Regional Business Manager Sam Carter told News Radio 1240 KQEN that 13,106 customers lost power at the peak of the outage. It began around 9:20 a.m. Most customers had their power restored in a few minutes, but some areas took longer. Carter said power was fully restored by 10:45 a.m.

The cause of the outage is under investigation. It took place while heavy rain was falling in the area.
