3 MORE DEATHS, 83 MORE POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 8 MORE PRESUMPTIVE

3 more people have died related to COVID-19 in Douglas County, 83 more people have received new positive test results, and 8 more are presumptive, as of Wednesday.

The Douglas County COVID-19 Update covered data reported Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Douglas Public Health Network has confirmed the latest COVID-19 related deaths. They were:

*A 59-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on September 1st and passed away on Monday.

*A 92-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on October 22nd and passed away on Tuesday.

*A 57-year old man who was diagnosed with COVID-19 on September 16th and also passed away on Tuesday.

None were vaccinated.

The update said the total number of cases is now at 12,555. Of those, 12,171 are people that have received positive test results and 384 are presumptive. 25 Douglas County COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, 15 locally and 10 outside the area. 2 COVID positive patients are in the Intensive Care Unit and 0 are in the Progressive Care Unit. 21 of the 25 hospitalized patients are not fully vaccinated.
