A Camas Valley man was hospitalized after a two-vehicle wreck in Sutherlin on Tuesday.
A report from Sutherlin Police said just before 4:30 p.m. an Oakland man had his vehicle stopped on West Central Avenue near the intersection with Calapooia Street for a red traffic signal. A second driver was distracted by his vehicle’s radio and rear-ended the first vehicle, causing his air bags to deploy. The man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for minor injuries. He was treated and released according to a hospital spokesperson. His vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the first vehicle were not injured and were able to drive their vehicle away.
