Covering coastal Douglas County:

A traveling clinic featuring COVID-19 vaccines, testing and booster shots continues through Sunday in Reedsport.

It is being held in collaboration with the Douglas County Board of Commissioners, Douglas Public Health Network, Aviva Health, the City of Reedsport, Lower Umpqua Hospital District, the Oregon Health Authority and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The clinic is open daily from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and is adjacent to the Douglas County Annex on Fir Avenue. It is offering first and second doses of both the Phizer and Moderna vaccines and single doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Booster doses are available for those who qualify. The clinic has COVID-19 PCR testing. This is not a rapid test and results will be returned in 3 to 4 business days. Thanks to the efforts of DPHN and Aviva Health, the annual flu shot is available as well.
