Douglas County government is still in the process of updating the County’s Transportation System Plan.

The process began in the fall of 2020. Much has changed since the current TSP was created in 1998. The TSP provides policy framework, planning direction, and projects and programs to meet the transportation needs of all people in the county. The plan will cover all areas outside incorporated city limits with a focus on the county’s many unincorporated communities.

Public input can be given with a second Online TSP Open House. This time feedback is being requested from residents about the proposed improvements that have developed. Go to www.douglascountytsp.org. Input provided will be used in order to ensure that the plan reflects the needs and values of county residents.
