Winston Police jailed a man following what were allegedly unfounded reports regarding an individual.

A WPD report said the suspect reported numerous incidences then continued to drive in the area after being advised that his reports had been proven to be unfounded. The man stopped in front of a residence where he was arrested for driving while suspended-misdemeanor. He was also charged with unlawful possession/concealment of firearms.

The report said the man allegedly had a gun that he concealed along with body armor and several magazines of ammunition in his vehicle.

Bail was set at $12,500.
