A woman was jailed after an alleged fire incident on Tuesday.

Information from Sutherlin Police said at about 4:45 p.m. an officer responded to the 100 block of Hawthorne Street after a report came in that a woman had items strewn around on the sidewalk and had a fire on the sidewalk, as well.

62-year old Pamela Sather was arrested for reckless burning and second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Bail was initially set at $15,000. Sather was released from custody on Wednesday.
