ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED DISTURBANCE

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disturbance on Monday.

The RPD report said at 4:00 p.m. a 45-year old was upset because another man was being loud inside a residence in the 200 block of Northeast Flagg Street. The suspect reportedly pounded on a closed door with a knife while making threats, causing the other man to fear for his life.

The suspect was charged with menacing and with unlawful use of a weapon. Bail was set at $56,250.
