A man was hospitalized after a freeway wreck on Saturday.
A report from Oregon State Police said at about 12;20 p.m. a commercial motor vehicle was traveling north on Interstate 5 about a mile south of Metz Hill. The vehicle left the lane of travel and hit the guard rail in two different places, damaging state property. The 46-year old driver had a medical condition which caused the crash.
The report said the man was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center with major medical issues. He was later transferred to Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. He was in good condition at last check, according to a hospital spokesperson
